I overheard a colleague say that one of her students haven't been attending class for almost two months. When she asked him why he hasn't been to class, he said that he simply forgot about that subject...
If there's one thing that really annoys me, its students who can't even lie creatively! I wonder whether he forgets to eat too?

As a lecturer, I'd love to give this excuse as well. Sorry, I forgot that I had this class. Register again next year.
